How To Make Your Player Whisper To Other Players
As you play the game, you’ll be able to whisper to other players during the day. And you can see the whispering in the chat box.
Only you and the player who you are whispering to can actually see the whisper, so you don’t have to worry about prying eyes and such.
A blackmailer can read the whispering – even if they are dead!
Here’s how to whisper to another player in the game:
- In the chat box, type /w and leave a space after it
- Follow that with the player number that you want to whisper to
- Enter your message that you want to whisper
Note: you can type the player’s name instead of their number, if you prefer. And, instead of /w you can use /whisper.
Here’s an example of what whispering would look like if you were trying to whisper to player #10:
/w 10 Don’t kill anyone until I say to.
or
/whisper 10 Don’t kill anyone until I say to.
How To Respond To A Whisper In Town of Salem
If another player whispers to you, then you will want to reply with a whisper as well. Otherwise, the other players will see your response.
To replay to a whisper, just whisper the same way as instructed above with /w and the player’s number.
A whisper response is done exactly the same way as an initial whisper.
How To Ignore Whispers In Town of Salem
You might be getting whispers in the game from a player that you don’t want to hear from. Maybe the person is a spammer, or you just don’t like them or whatever.
Regardless of the reason, you can ignore a player’s whispers. Here’s how to do it:
- First, type /ignore in the chat and leave a space after it
- Enter the Player name or Player Number
So, if you want to ignore player #10, then it will look like this:
/ignore 10
When you do this, you will still hear the sound of whispering when the player tries to whisper to you, but you won’t see the whispered message. Generally speaking, you don’t want to ignore a player’s whispers unless you think they’re a spammer or something.
So, if you decide that you want to stop ignoring someone’s whispers in Town of Salem, then you have to unignore them.
Here’s how to do it:
- First, type /unignore in the chat and leave a space after it
- Enter the Player name or Player Number
So, if you want to unignore player #10, then it will look like this:
/unignore 10
After doing that, you should be able to get whispers from the player again.
